Meet Mithil Anande, a highly accomplished chess player and the esteemed Chief Coach and CEO of Chessniti Academy. With a wealth of experience and a passion for nurturing young talents, Mithil has made significant contributions to the chess community.

Mithil has showcased his exceptional skills as a player by securing victory in the Maharashtra Chess Team Championship. He represented Maharashtra in the National Team Chess Championship for an impressive four times

As a full-time chess coach for the past seven years, Mithil has dedicated his career to teaching and inspiring young chess enthusiasts. His collaborations with various esteemed institutes have further enhanced his expertise and expanded his influence in the chess coaching domain. Under his tutelage, more than 20 of his students attained an international chess rating.

Mithil’s coaching prowess is highly sought after, as he continues to work with both national and international champions as a coach. He is a versatile coach who has students as young as 4 years to as old as 42 years old!

His experience in mentoring top-level players has allowed him to refine his coaching methods and offer invaluable insights to his students, ensuring their growth and success in the competitive chess arena. Mithil’s own accomplishments as a rated chess player add credibility to his coaching abilities. With a FIDE rating of 1698, he has proven his skill and understanding of the game, providing a solid foundation for his coaching methodologies and strategies.

IM Shantanu Bhambure

Curriculum Designer & Coach

Shantanu, a highly accomplished chess player, holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, showcasing his multidimensional talents. His journey in the world of chess has taken him to various countries, including Romania, Croatia, and Spain.

Notable achievements include winning the Maharashtra State Champion title in the Open Category in 2017, securing a podium finish at the esteemed Zadar International Open Chess Tournament in 2019, and earning a Silver Medal in the National University Team Event in 2015.

Shantanu’s remarkable dedication and skill were further recognized when he received his third International Master (IM) norm at the Sunway Sitges Open 2022 held in Spain.
