About the trainer:
IM Shantanu Bhambure

Shantanu, a highly accomplished chess player, holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, showcasing his multidimensional talents. His journey in the world of chess has taken him to various countries, including Romania, Croatia, and Spain.

Notable achievements include winning the Maharashtra State Champion title in the Open Category in 2017, securing a podium finish at the esteemed Zadar International Open Chess Tournament in 2019, and earning a Silver Medal in the National University Team Event in 2015.

Shantanu’s remarkable dedication and skill were further recognized when he received his third International Master (IM) norm at the Sunway Sitges Open 2022 held in Spain.

IM Shantanu has clashed against renowned players including GM Nigel Short, GM Alireza Firouzja, GM Abhijeet Gupta, GM Sethuraman S.P, GM D. Gukesh, and more.
